CONTENTS OF

BLEUET CREAM

Water (Aqua) – purified and desalinated water is a natural basis for all cosmetics.

Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride – this emolient improves the consistency of the product. It is applied in skin and hair cosmetics and creates an occlusive layer (film) on the surface. It has an indirect moisturizing effect by preventing excessive water evaporation from the surface. It contributes to skin and hair softening and improves their conditions.

Olivem 1000 (Cetearyl Olivate, Sorbitan Olivate) – it is a modern, mild emulsifier with EcoCertu certificate and thus, is approved for the use as an emulsifier of ecological cosmetics. It is made from olive oil. It perfectly combines the cream ingredients, nourishing, moisturizing and protecting our skin against harmful external factors at the same time.

Glycerin – it is one of the most commonly used cosmetic products. It is sugar alcohol. It can penetrate the horny layer (Lat. stratum corneum), soothes irritations and the skin. It smoothes and regenerates the skin, improves its elasticity and firmness. It helps to maintain the cosmetic mass of the cosmetic product and thus, prevents crystallization and drying out of the product.

Isopropyl Myristate – its effects might be similar to the previously mentioned Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride. It moisturizes as well but its main task is to reduce the sticking effect of the cosmetic product and its greasiness. As a consequence, the application of cosmetics is much easier and they might be spread more easily.

Argan oil (Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil) – oil derived from argan tree nuts. In cosmetics, the oil is produced from not roasted seeds. It strengthens the skin, hair and nails. It moisturizes and protects the skin. Its antioxidant properties regenerate the skin and prevent it from the ageing process. .

Shea butter (BUTYROSPERMUM PARKII BUTTER) – natural fat obtained in the process of pressing butter tree nuts. It is a natural protection against UV radiation and makes the skin smooth and soft. It regenerates and polishes the skin.

Mixture of coconut oil acid esters (Coco-Caprylate/Caprate) – it has moisturizing effects and protects the epidermis. It creates an occlusive layer (film) on the surface and thus, maintains moisture in the skin.

Beeswax (Cera Alba) – wax produced by bees protects and cares about particularly sensitive parts of the skin, moisturizing and regenerating them. It protects the cosmetic product against stratification and prolongs its durability.

Mixture of stearyl and cetaryl alcohol – it improves viscosity of the cosmetic product and its distribution on the skin. It owes its moisturizing effect to the “film” created on the skin and in consequence, the water does not evaporate from the skin.

Tocopheryl acetate – antioxidant used in cosmetics which delays the ageing process caused by tobacco smoke and excessive exposition to sunshine. It strengthens the protective barrier of the epidermis by integrating cells membranes and intercellular cement of the horny layer (Lat. Stratum corneum) into the lipid structures. The antioxidant function performs well as far as prolonging the durability of the cosmetic products and prevention of bacteria development are concerned.

Xanthan gum – it is a polysaccharide derived in the process of bacterial fermentation. It influences the consistency and performs well as a cosmetic mass thickener and improves viscosity of the product.

Allantoin – an active substance found in roots of some plants, such as bean or soya. It has anti-inflammatory properties and thus, supports the regenerating and rebuilding process of the epidermis and stimulates wound healing process. It soothes irritations. It has a strong moisturizing effect and thus, leaves a feeling of skin smoothness.

Panthenol – a precursor of vitamin B5, pro-vitamin B5. After penetrating the skin, it is converted to pantothenic acid. Both compounds have the same biological effects. Vitamin B is found in every living cell. It has anti-inflammatory properties and thus, accelerates the process of regenerating the epidermis. Due to its ability to penetrate into their structure, panthenol is applied in skin and hair care products and leaves a feeling of smoothness.

Peg-8 – it is a hygroscopic substance which easily binds water. “Pegi” is known for its negative effects on the skin, however, Peg-8 is responsible for moisturizing the skin and its proper functioning. Our cream includes its minimum concentration of 0,03 % T which prevents product crystallization.

Vitamin E (TOCOPHEROL) – its main feature is a moisturizing effect. It is called “a youth vitamin” as its antioxidant effect delays the skin ageing process and makes it immune to the penetration of foreign substances and prevents irritations. An additional function is to reinforce the blood vessels walls and improve the skin blood flow.

Ascorbyl Palmitate – it demonstrates main effects on the surface of the epidermis, protecting the skin against UVA and UVB radiation. It soothes the skin exposed to excessive sunshine. It evens the skin tone and brightens spots and discolorations. It delays the ageing processes.

Ascorbid acid – it might be found in large numbers in nature, i.a. in wild rose, citrus fruit, black currant and some vegetables such as parsley, spinach, broccoli. It delays the processes of external skin ageing. After penetrating the deeper layer of the epidermis, it stimulates the collagen synthesis and thus, inhibits the skin ageing process. Its light exfoliating effect contributes to the skin tone unification.

Citirc Acid – it is found in nature, plants and animal organisms. It is a water-soluble substance. It belongs to alpha hydroxyl acids which demonstrate exfoliating effects. Thus, it restores the skin shine by evening the skin tone and brightening discolorations. The cosmetic mass is responsible for correct pH of the product.

Dehydroacetic Acid – preservative of cosmetic mass identical to natural. It is approved by bodies certifying natural cosmetics, i.e. Ecocert. Safe for the allergic.

Benzyl Alcohol – it is applied in cosmetic products as preservative effectively prolonging the durability of the product. It also makes sure so that the product while being applied on a daily basis e.g. with a finger, does not go off in a quicker way when bacteria is introduced into the whole product. It inhibits the development and survival of microorganisms in the cosmetic mass. It regulates the product consistency.

Olive oil (Olea Europaea Fruit Oil) – it is a rich source of unsaturated fatty acids, nourishes the skin and leaves a protective film on it. It improves skin blood flow and thus, strengthens the barrier of the epidermis, regenerates and moisturizes it.

Almond oil (Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis) – almond oil has nourishing, moisturizing, softening and smoothing effects and thus, it is thought to be a very effective emollient. It nourishes and improves the cellular renewal, improves skin blood flow and protects it from harmful UV radiation.

Urea – a moisturizing substance with abilities to penetrate the horny layer (Lat. Stratum corneum). If more concentrated, it has an exfoliating effect on rough epidermis.

Vitamin B3 (Niacinamide) – it is beneficial for dry, oily, acne, vascular skin, as well as skin prone to discoloration, mature, wrinkled, sensitive and irritated skin. It is helpful in the majority of skin problems and that is why, it might be applied with all skin types.

Passion fruit oil (passiflora edulis seed oil) – it has very strong antioxidant properties – it contains bioflavonoids, carotenoids, unsaturated omega-6 acids, vitamins A and C (brightens the skin). It cleanses the skin, removes dead cells and accelerates skin renewal. It provides anti-wrinkle and rejuvenating effects. It regenerates and nourishes the skin and restores a natural lipid layer of the skin, without increased greasing.
